Tangem card technology provides a "security through obscurity" approach. The disclosure of the source code within the secure elements would render hardware wallets vulnerable. To prove that the Tangem firmware has no backdoors or bugs that would lead to the loss of funds, Tangem brought in a renowned independent security auditor, Kudelski Security.
